So it does not run currently. Replaced the spark plugs and both catalystic converters 400 bucks right there) near new tires. So somebody is going to want this either to put a new motor or to use the tranny and parts off it.

The ball joints and tie rod ends look tight so I am sure that replacing the rack and pinion will fix the play issue.
